Our Vision
Our vision for
the youth that come to Grace is one of passion and love for
teenagers. Through the years, we have not only seen our own church
kids come to a solid walk with God, but also other teens who have no
church home or established youth group within their church. It is
our desire for teens to come to a realization that there is a God
who truly loves them and personally cares about their every need,
heartache, and dreams for life.
Our weekly
lessons are not "preaching" at the kids but teaching by interacting
with them. We talk about real life issues that they may be dealing
with such as dating, drugs, alcohol, sex, and relationships with
parents, siblings, and teachers. there are many issues that teens
deal with today, and we try to touch on those things every week
through our lessons by bringing in the word of God as a guiding
force to bring solutions and comfort to their lives. Teenagers are
loved and accepted right where they are when they come to Grace
Christian.

Read what
our youth group graduates have to say...
"Youth group was such an important part of my life because it
offered a save place to take my mind off business and distractions
of life, and truly worship my God in the company of fellow
classmates and peers. Another thing is that I felt responsible for
my faith, and although the atmosphere was there, you (Cindy)
really had a passion to see us (the youth group) have a personal
experience and relationship with God. So, you provided the
material and all that stuff, but it was really up to us to take it
and go with it."
-Kelly
"It's a wonderful thing when you can grow with your fellow peers
in Christ at youth group and the next day have the confidence that
you can face the world with them as you go to school and other
activities."
-Bethany
"My
favorite thing over the years was probably the community that we
developed. I made some great friends in youth that I never would
have if it wasn't for the youth group. They weren't just normal
friends either; they shared something with me that no one else
did. They were Christians. I really enjoyed having discussions
with them, giving and taking advice, and all of us trying to do
our best at life. Some of the best memories I have from my life
are at the church, whether it was Acquire the Fire, camp, or just
a good discussion on a Wednesday night."
-Eric
"The thing that meant the most to me when I was in youth is the
love that you and the other leaders continually showed all of us.
It really meant a lot to me."
