Children's Church |

Our
Children's Church
program is
for children between the ages of 3 and 12. Children study bible
verses and topics relevant to their age and understanding, including
our current curriculum by Church on the Move,
Walking by Faith. Children's church
meets during the Sunday Worship Service at 10 AM and on Wednesday
evenings at 7 PM. |

One of the most important activities sponsored
by the Children's Department is our summer Vacation Bible School.
Last summer, we hosted over 75 children at our church for "Avalanche
Ranch," a Western-themed week-long Bible School. Kids
without transportation were picked up on the GCF bus, and everyone
enjoyed five afternoons of crafts, singing, skits, movies, snacks,
and prayer. As part of the Bible School, the kids also sent money
and handmade "prayer bears" to missionaries in Africa for
distribution to poverty-stricken families across the continent. |

This year, our vacation
bible school will be held from July 7, 2008 - July 11, 2008 in the
evenings. Our theme is "Power
Lab,"
a science-themed adventure with skits, crafts, snacks, songs, and a
strong biblical message. More details and registration information
