One of the most important activities sponsored
by the Children's Department is our summer Vacation Bible School.
In August, we hosted 25 children at our church for "Crocodile
Dock," a
science-themed week-long Bible School. Everyone enjoyed five
evenings of supper, crafts, singing, skits, movies, and prayer. As
part of the Bible School, the kids also donated money and stuffed
animals to St. Anthony's Regional Hospital for distribution to kids
in our community who are sick or hurt and in need of some comfort
during their time at the hospital.
Our 2009 VBS theme
was
Crocodile Dock. We had a great time helping the children learn
about our powerful, caring God who does what He says He'll do ("Fear
